District Cotton Tee

Another great shop we’re drop into not only our ‘favorites’ column, but also the ‘green’ column. District Cotton features tees to show off your ’social conscience without all of the pretentiousness’. Witty, intelligent designs and a wide selection of organic products and printing processes make District Cotton a truly responsible fashion choice.

I really dig our Bikes Not Bombs sample tee. Very nicely printed on 100% organic cotton. Tagless and very comfortable. Worth checking out their onsies for the little ones and cool recycled bags. www.districtcotton.com

Neo Nuclear Tees From Atomic Madhouse

Atomic Madhouse Tees

These are the prefect tees for comic books fans. Inspired by punk rock posters and classic comics, artists Frank Forte and Elizabeth J. Musgrave have put together a cool collection of shirts known as Atomic Madhouse. The first thing I thought of when I saw this Blamm! shirt is the classic Batman and Robin series I watched as a kid. Devil Girl is another great pick for the ladies.

Our samples were perfectly inked on American Apparel shirts. Custom tag and all. Nicely done. Hit ‘em up and check out the comic books too.

Paul Jacober - Nevermind the Roses

Paul Jacober

Graphic designer Paul Jacober has released a new appparel line dubbed Nevermind the Roses. The series of tees are a ‘tongue-in-cheek’ play on popular British imagery. Our Union Jack sample tee was incredibly soft and ‘pre-distressed’ around the edges for a nice vintage look but without the super faded appearance of real vintage tee graphic.

“The great thing about these shirts is that it is the first REAL fashion-take on what some could consider a souvenir shirt,” said Paul. “The reason being is that the shirts represent innovative and imaginative designs on an upscale quality of shirt. All these details strategically thought out allow the shirt to easily transition from daytime wear to nighttime hip.”

Nightime hip is probably a good description considering their price point falls above the $50 mark. ($52 to be exact). Little rich for a lot of casual tee fans, but nice. Pauljacober.com.

Delicious Tees

Delicious Tees

Delicious Tees dropped us a line just before the holiday season. They have a really nice line of women’s tees that got me thinking. I realized a majority of submissions I post tend to be for mens shirts. Need to work on that. No better place to start I guess than with Delicious.

detail.gifA series of 10 shirts is available, all of which ‘promote a message of love and unity rooted from the female experience’. Our feature sample is the Instrument design (shown right). The designs are great. A rich mixture of type and illustration brings to life the Delicious message. The shirts are a 50/50 blend and nicely cut. The silkscreening was nicely executed. We also appreciated the little catalog that came along with the shirts. I think those little extras make the presentation and had me immediately looking at what else was available (and no net connection needed). Nicely done.

Material Bitch Builds a Brand

Fucking Fabulous T-Shirt

With the shopping frenzy of the holidays just behind us we could think of a better time to post up Material Bitch - a mouthy and irreverent brand with a handful of attention getting women’s tees and tanks. From Fucking Fabulous (shown below) to the medieval logo tee Material Bitch’s attitude comes through loud and clear. The tees (and one tracksuit) are available online, and also in a handful of boutique clothing stores in Arizona.

InVIAGGIO - Travel Inspired Design

Inviaggio clothing

I’ve found a new shop to add to my list of personal favorites. I guess it’s the traveler in me, but love the concept and method these guys use to create their shirts. InVIAGGIO designs are inspired directly by their world travels. Though out of Washington D.C. their look is very European. It appear the imagery comes straight from photos that have been posterized down to a single color. The effect is very cool, as are the images.

Our sample tee Las Botellas features a bar full of beer and wine bottles - an important part of any trip to Italy. The shirt ranks super high on the softness factor and has been pre-distressed for that beat-to-hell, worn in look. Super comfortable. The women’s tee below is name La Pintada, from Spain. Prices start at $35. They’ve got a nice little monochrome Flash site, and you can also hit the shopping are directly here.

Franks T-Shirt Rental

Franks T-Shirt Rental
I finally got my hands on a Sackwear shirt. This is one of those (many) shops I’ve been aware of for a while but just never got around to posting on. Their Amish Country Choppers has always made me laugh, as does Frank’s T-Shirt Rental. Just one of those silly tees. Nice type with a beat up look. They’re running a sale through the end of November - all tees are just $14.99, no coupon code needed. Give these guys a look. Nice site, plenty of funny stuff. Sackwear.com. Couple more picts after the jump.

Death Bit of a Worry Isn’t It Shirt from Turtlehead

I’ve had this shirt hanging around the office for weeks. I’ve been swamped and hadn’t gotten to posting it, but it cracks me up everytime I walk by it. (Death, bit of a worry, isn’t it?) Not even sure why, just one of those odd things. The bright red and white print of the antlers keeps making me thing of Christmas.

The tee is from Turtlehead. These guys have a crazy sense of humor. The headless drummer shirt (below) designed by David Shrigley is the perfect example. Good stuff and free shipping on anything anywhere.

New Stuff from AMP Street

AMP Street Throw Up Tee

The guys over AMP Street are cranking out cool stuff. We were happy to see our review tee hit the mail box a couple weeks ago and they’ve just rolled out 4 new designs. Cut more tree, Smokey in clouds, Kiss the animal, and Blow.

Our sample tee - Throw Up - was nicely printed. Five color with print at the hip as well. A crazy intense burst of graffiti like color on black.

Check out their accessories too. Some nice caps, sketch books and wallets. (The Brainsplatter cap after the jump.)
