Cool Christian Shirts White

URL: www.backbonethreads.com

How long have you been selling?
2 months approx.

Give us an overview of your shop.
Many people hear “Christian shirts” and think, either they’re cheesy or they suck. Backbone Threads are definitely cool Christian shirts . We have some overtly Christian shirts for those who want something bold, and we have some subtle shirts that just touch on faith.

We have two designers, one does mostly typographic shirts and one does hand-drawn, graphically intense shirts. We print on Bella for girly and Anvil 980 for guys. In-collar printing, custom packaging and extra freebies in the mail, too!

How did you get started?
Our founder, David, has talked about making shirts for over 15 years, but it took meeting our lead designer, Zak, to get things rolling. Add some major life shake-ups and Backbone Threads was born almost out of necessity. Continue reading

Teaseage Tees

Psychedelic rabbit in the shrooms white t-shirt

URL: http://teaseage.storenvy.com/

How long have you been selling?
Since 2010

Give us an overview of your shop. What kind of merchandise, style, theme, etc.
Teaseage Tees are powered by the essential idea of the inner beauty of each individual, expressed through common means like the T-shirt. Add a little sense of tease in this beauty, and you get Teaseage. Currently, the creations of this brand explore the most interesting semi-historical and still important themes of human consciousness – Ethnoculture-Shamanism-Psychedelic Era-Hippie Movement and etc.

How did you get started?
The idea was to bring all those designs, searchings and findings to life, and the t-shirts seemed to be quite a perfect canvas for this job. Then, the idea of the brand called Teaseage was born, and it never stopped growing ever since. Now, when you get the idea and the body or medium you are going to use for it, other steps, like establishing the brand online, were not too difficult. The love and faith in what you do plays the biggest part here. Continue reading

Sex Sells Inc. Clothing

How long have you been selling?
A bit over a year. We sell premium 100% pima cotton Tshirts. We love travel, nightlife and boldness. We tried to capture all these in our websites feel and theme.

How did you get started?
I was working as a bartender at one of the biggest bars in my city. I decided one day to make a print on an Old Navy V-neck that read Sex Sells. I wore it out and got tons of great feedback. I had people wanting to buy my shirt from me. I sold the shirts off my back a few times over the bar.

Tell us about the creative side of your business? What inspires you?
The way I see it. Sex is a significant driving force behind every action we take and decision we make. Sex drives our world’s economies selling everything from beer, water, and cigarettes to cars, clothes and video games. This is an undeniable fact and is never going to change. Look at your own website. You have pictures of sexy girls wearing shirts. Because sexy girls sell tshirts.

What are a couple of important things you’ve learned that have help you successfully grow your business?
We are kind of a new guy so the outlook is changing every day. I do notice that you can work your ass off online and get little results but a day out promoting in person may bring 10 or 20 additional sales.

Any cool plans for the future?
We want to start out by getting a hand full of new prints out for the fall, all around the concept Sex Sells. We are working now to get in a few boutiques. Continue to grow and get our name out there. We would also love to make mens underwear and swimwear, next year.

What celebrity would you most like to see sporting one of your tees?

Amp Street Interview

Amp Street Tees from Bangkok

This is one of our more long awaited interviews – mainly because it took us forever to get around to posting. But finally it’s here. These guys dropped us a line a while back and we posted on some cool stuff back in April. But my curiousity was peaked. I had to know more. Luckily they were nice enough to fill us in on what makes them tick and the business of selling t-shirts in Thialand.

Read the AMP Street interview here.
