Mind Bending World of Bakso

Graphic designer tees on-demand from Bakso

Ready to have your mind bent? Head over to Bakso. It’s a community based shirt site that features designs submitted by some widely creative and talented people. Most of the tees are illustrative in style and have a slightly twisted surrealist vibe to them. Imagine Batman and Robin riding a giant pigeon, or a three-titted terminator. Seriously.

They use direct to garment printing to produce shirts of any design on-demand. The printing on our sample tee is simply stunning. The tee is a very good quality, medium weight. Bakso’s one of those sites you need to bookmark because there’s always new designs coming up.  If you’re a designer considering submitting your work here.

How did you get started?
During College days and University, Goranka always had thoughts in her mind about having her own business. Something which she can make decisions over and create things which not only herself but others would love. After months of thinking what she could do, she came up with an idea of creating T-Shirts!

Limited edition designer Tee shirts sold solely over the web.We came up with the idea of only doing limited runs of shirt designs rather than the mass produced normal stuff and to make it all a bit different.
We only print 250 of any design, indivdually numbered. Also the designer gets the chance of earning some cash for their trouble. Up to $1,000.00 nzd

How did you get started?
Vinnie started the ball rolling a year ago, he’s really pasionate about design and also a bit keen on his fashion as well. Then I rolled up with the boring stuff like company stuff and bank accounts blah blah, was also really keen on the idea being a designer myself it all just seemed to fit. Then Robby decided he didn’t have a hole lot going on at the time, thought the idea was awsome, loves a good Tee and before you now it we had a pretty good plan and the rest is history. Teaseage Tees are powered by the essential idea of the inner beauty of each individual, expressed through common means like the T-shirt. Add a little sense of tease in this beauty, and you get Teaseage. Currently, the creations of this brand explore the most interesting semi-historical and still important themes of human consciousness – Ethnoculture-Shamanism-Psychedelic Era-Hippie Movement and etc.

How did you get started?
The idea was to bring all those designs, searchings and findings to life, and the t-shirts seemed to be quite a perfect canvas for this job. Then, the idea of the brand called Teaseage was born, and it never stopped growing ever since. Now, when you get the idea and the body or medium you are going to use for it, other steps, like establishing the brand online, were not too difficult. The love and faith in what you do plays the biggest part here. Continue reading

Sorry for Last Night – T-Post

Been a while since we revisted T-Post. Our latest delivery is the Sorry For Last Night edition. If you’re not familiar with T-Post, they tout themselves as the ‘world’s first wearable magazine’. The outside of the tee, pictured above features a graphic of some sort. The inside is where things are unique. Shown after the jump, it’s an entire news article relating to the outside graphic. Interesting concept. You buy the tees as a ‘subscriber’ and get regular ‘issues’ (tees) delivered to your door.
