We started the brand in November and a week ago we launched our fan page. It's been really great to hear feedback and our fanbase is definitely growing. We now have 185 fans and counting!

Facebook is a big big part of our plans. For a brand new and growing company the opportunity to get feedback, post updates and discounts and interact on a more personal level is great.

Its such an important part of our plans that we are offering a 30% coupon code to anyone who joins our Facebook page through the end of November.

Come take a look!

Thx- Mike

TJ - great Facebook page and 1000+ fans! It does take the time to get the ball rolling when you promote on Facebook, but you reach users in a very personal (and viral) environment. You might consider asking fans to post their own photos - favorite tees, etc. - to generate content other then your won. Nice job.

Facebook is our number one source for steady traffic. We post every shirt up there as well as interact with our customers and previous customers who upload pictures of themselves wearing our products. It is the best resource to interact with your customers.

Hope that isn't too sales pitchy :) TJ - RIPT

Facebook is not as big yet in Germany as it is in other countries.
We have a facebook page of course, but I rarely update it since I don't really see what it brings. I think using facebook as a marketing tool might be useful if you have a lot of fans on your page (Threadless are really doing a good job here), but for shirtcity we would really have to make an effort in order to be bigger on facebook. So far I don't remember anything I did on facebook having an effect on our sales. Maybe except posting the occasional tee in a group.
But dear readers: of course you are invited to join and become a fan. Increasing number of FB fans means increasing activity.
Best,

I couldn't survive without it actually. We just launched a little over a month ago and until the word gets out there and we get some press, it is keeping us alive – barely.

There is no better way to spread things though. And it is WAY better than a traditional e-mail mailing list because you don't have to worry about spam and it is interactive.

We post shirts we are working on to get feedback, new shirt updates, discounts, along with all kinds of silly stuff.
