Five Years in Iraq
Wow, our second political post this week. It is an election year after all. The folks over at Progresswear.com have put together a promotion to mark our 5th anniversary in Iraq. Good slogan tee. My only concern is that the anti-war movement has become a band-wagon, kind of like 9-11 became a band wagon for the *war on terrorism*.
Ultimately, our government decided to go to war with Iraq for their own reasons, whatever they were. The connection to terrorism and to WMDs *was* the lie.
