We first crossed paths with One Six tees last fall when we stumbled on a video ad on YouTube.com. I was suprised at the quality given the typical low production value of pretty much everything on YouTube. The video was a sharply done and seemed like a great way for smaller shops to gain a bit of viral exposure.

So when I got an email from One Six earlier this month everything made that much more sense. Once again, a great story of entrepreneurial ambition. A father daughter duo creating cool shirt designs to help fund college. Dad owns a design studio and the daughter is a second year film student. Hence, good design and great video.

The collection of tees is geared toward the female crowd and lets buyers select any design they’d like and then choose any shirt to have it put on any shirt. Nice custom twist. They’ve got a nice selection of designs and shirt styles. Hit ‘em ladies.

Kylie Minogue was spotted in Itally sporting a vintage Elton John tee. Last we saw of Kylie she was all wet.

This picture of Jessica Alba in a wet t-shirt is almost too good to be too - almost. If she was only facing foward! Considering we also have Jessica’s butt in a bikini I guess it’s a decent comprise. Looks like she was getting her shirt wet down at the beach for some kind of photoshot.

We’re usually a pretty positive buch when it comes to our reviews. Spread love, not hate, ya know that whole thing. But sometimes stuff just isn’t right. If I were Britney Spears I’d hope I had a stylist to fire after walking around looking like this. Fact is she probably dressed herself. The wig is bad enough. She gets a pass for the Von Dutch hat. But the towel and the airbrushed shirt. Wow. Nice look. It’s says Malibu but I’m guessing it was airbrushed on the Venice boardwalk.

Hold on to your seats, we’re going deep and getting philosophical today. Who cares if anyone hears that tree that fell in the woods. The important question is whether a painted on t-shirt is really a t-shirt at all.
