This is one of our more long awaited interviews – mainly because it took us forever to get around to posting. But finally it’s here. These guys dropped us a line a while back and we posted on some cool stuff back in April. But my curiousity was peaked. I had to know more. Luckily they were nice enough to fill us in on what makes them tick and the business of selling t-shirts in Thialand.
Things are just getting started for the next presidential election, which means it’s time to start up the political tee machinery. One of favorite shops, Teetonic.com, has a series of new shirts design for the Six Cities design festival. For those unfamiliar with Teetonic they’re a design competition style shop where users can submit shirt designs and vote for their favorites. It’s a cool concept that produces a lot of great work. And even cooler when you hear that design heavy-weights like Stefan Sagmeister are contributing work. Additional contributors to TeeTonic’s new Signature Series are: Wayne Hemingway, Timorous Beasties, Zandra Rhodes, Peter Saville and d8. Seriously some of the most original work around. Check em out and shop quick, the Six Cities tees aren’t likely to last long!
With the popularity of the Sopranos it’s no suprise to see some mob inspired designs make their way into t-shirt culture – and so we have ItalianGangsterWear.com. They’ve got a full like of merchandise with designs based on their logo “G” (top shirt), and plenty more Gangster inspired garb. A couple here for the women to wear – the Gangster Girl, and one of our favorites, 49% Angel. Very funny.

The Britney Spears comeback trail is littered with awesome fashion. And today is no different. Britney’s sporting an ABS Style tank by Allen Schwartz sans the bra. I’m pretty certain she burned all of her bras in rehab after she heard the lecture on gravity was gong to end soon. ABS Style
It’s Jessica Simspon – post John Mayer breakup number 1 – sporting a vintage Rolling Stone American flag tongue shirt. Perhaps she borrowed it from Jessica Alba?
