I Love Tripods - Shirts for Three Legged Dog Owners
This is definitely one of the strangest t-shirts we’ve posted. Before you start barking (ok, terrible pun) at me for making fun of disabled three-legged dogs‚Ķread on.
Tripod Charity Gear was set up by a women¬† who’s dog lost one of its hind legs due to cancer. Being the loyal dog owner (as most are) she’s gone to great lengths to take care of Lulu and help her lead a healthy comfortable life. In doing so she’s incured some pretty steep vet bills. So, she’s selling shirts to help her raise money and, I’d guess, promote the love of even our 3-legged friends.
As many of you know, my dog Lulu was diagnosed with bone cancer in her left hind leg in mid-August. Within a week her leg was removed and biopsied to show that she had a type of cancer called osteosarcoma. Osteosarcoma is one of the most common bone tumors and it is estimated that at least 6,000 new cases are diagnosed in dogs each year in the United States.
