This year’s World Cup has come and gone. So posting about soccer might seem a bit lame, but not when the soccer player is a hot Playboy girl drenched in a cut off t-shirt in the rain. That my friend is the makings of a year round sport. For fans of anything Playboy you might want to check out the Playboy Store. You’d be suprised at the amount of cool tees for sale, in edition to a few of the items you’d expect to find.

I’m guessing from the yellow t-shirt Ashlee Simpson is wearing she’s pretty damn happy. Perhaps it’s the new nose? Whatever the case, the I’m So Happy I Could Just Shit shirt is a nice and classy. Is it just me or does Ashlee seem to look more and more like Jessica these day? I think that would make everyone happy enough to shit.

I’ll admit I’m not totally up to speed on Thalia, despite my vast knowledge of one name models. But Thalia wearing a white Glam shirt and shiny legs is worth a post.

We’re probably going a bit deep into t-shirt culture for our casual readers, but so be it. Dov Charney, the founder and CEO of American Apparel recently appeared on Charlie Rose. Most of our readers who own t-shirt shops probably know a fair amount about American Apparel t-shirts. A lot of our casual readers may not have a clue, but probably have more than a few American Apparel tees in their collection.

American Apparel is giant in the shirt industry and has created a unique reputation for using non-sweat shop labor - all based in the United States - and typically pay twice the minimum wage. Their ad campaigns have featured edgy contemporary photography, using employees as models. In building their brand they have done a fantastic job at creating more than just product awareness, but an actual t-shirt culture.
